What is the award amount?
Award amounts vary by recipient. We consider current academic records, volunteer work, financial need, future goals, and writing skills. Awards may be up to $10,000 for individuals. Awards are granted by the foundation based on our evaluations of the applicants and essays.
How do I apply?
Applicants can apply by clicking on the links throughout this website once the application window has opened.
Does the award renew annually?
No. Award winners may re-apply each year for the scholarship, and might find it useful to indicate that they are past recipients.
Can the scholarship be used for non-tuition items, like books?
Yes. We recognize that financial challenges of higher education are not restricted to tuition fees. While this is not a “blank check”, it may be used for non-tuition fees charged to students by the accredited institutions.
