Scholarships for Technical School

Eligibility

Applicants to the W. Wright Foundation Scholarship Program must meet all of the following criteria:

  • Be female
  • Be a citizen of the United States of America
  • Be a high school graduate or current post-secondary undergraduate or graduate level student.
  • Have a minimum grade point average (GPA) of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale or the equivalent
  • Upon receipt of award, provide proof of enrollment in undergraduate or graduate study at an accredited two-year or four-year college, university, or vocational-technical school in the United States for the academic year for which you applied.

Awards

If selected as a recipient, the student may receive an award of up to $10,000.  Multiple awards will be granted, and over $70,000 will be awarded for the academic year. Size of individual awards will be determined by the board.  Awards are not auto-renewed, but students may reapply to the program each year they meet eligibility requirements.

Awards are for undergraduate, graduate, vocational, or technical education.

Application for deadline is 06/01/2024 for the 2024-2025 academic year.  We may stop accepting applications after we have received 250.
